Hi Gordon

On the Apple wireless keyboard, they are the second and third keys from the
left on the bottom row. If you use a wired Apple keyboard, they are the
first and second keys on the bottom row from the left. I've never seen any
others, so can't help I'm afraid.

Hi Jackie
Thanks for your reply. What and where are the VO keys? I'm assuming they are
the Voice Over ones - you have the Apple keyboard, I wonder if the Freedom
one has the same. (Anyone with the Freedom keyboard (foldable) clue me in
too?
Thanks.
Gordon

Hi Gordon

To do a double click with the keyboard, hold down the VO keys and space-bar,
then that opens the edit field or app you want. I have never worked out how
to get it to read line by line yet either.

Subject: [access-uk] Iphone keyboard issues

Hi
I've been searching for an app which will let me navigate text files with
my portable Iphone keyboard (the Freedom) I really wish to use it as a
standard keyboard, being able to use the cursor keys up and down to read a
line at a time.
In the Notes program that comes with the Iphone, you can type a line but if
you make a number of lines it does not appear you can go up line by line
reading your document. It gets stuck on a line and only reads your edited
letters.
I purchased Quick Office Connect Mobile, Documents to go and Trunk Notes -
all have a modicombe of accessibility but I still don't seem to be able to
do what I want.
The thought has struck me that I don't know the keyboard or the Iphone that
well and that some of you might have solved these problems or be able to
make recommendations.
1.Is there a way to get a line to be read rather then individual letters -
is this a Voice over command?
2. How do I make the keyboard do a double click when required and when I
press 'Enter' to be able to choose an item.
Thanks.
