I guess you need to check if there are any SE drivers around for this
player. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Subject: [access-uk] IRIVER MP3 PLAYER

Hi Everyone

I have just bought an Iriver H320 MP3 player. It is great, except that
the PC will not recognise it. I have Windows 98 SE, and have loaded the
Hmanager software. Windows Explorer knows there is a drive there, but
it says the device is not ready.

I have copied some music to the player from a Windows XP machine at
work, so I know the player and cable are ok.

I have installed some patches for USB ports from Windows Update.

I thought there may be a power issue here, so I tried disconnecting the
Apollo and Alva Braille Terminal, and also I tried quitting JAWS and
firing up Windows Explorer. It made no difference.

I have connected memory pens and a compact flash card reader to the PC,
so I know the USB ports work.

I know the obvious answer is to upgrade to Windows XP, but this is not
an option at present and I have a large amount of music waiting to be
copied to the player.

I have visited the Iriver website, but did not find it very accessible.
I was also hoping there might be an electronic version of the large
manual.

Any Thoughts?
