Hi I accept what you say about USB 1, it would take a long time to use that = or the wireless B to fill the 30Gb hard disk that is a part of the Icon. = I wonder what the latest capacity a mobile phone has today and what = methods there are for filling that capacity? On the issue of modern = phones. What is the more advanced and versatile platform? I understand = that Simbian and Mobile 5 are where the battle lines are drawn? Am I = right in thinking that pocket word is coming to the Mobile 5 platform = thus, we'll have to purchase a non Nokia handset should we want to use a = word processor? Because we already have access to PDA's a speaking = solution will be more or less immediately available? Are my assumptions = and understandings correct on these issues? I understand that some people prefer main stream products and agree to = some extent. However, if specialist products flag particular obstacles = in main stream products, the designers of main stream products may = incorporate a solution in future generations of their products. Anyway, = I still enjoy and use the Book Courier I purchased from you. I guess I need the full or professional version of talks, to read letter = by letter? I have the standard version as provided by Vodafone and = either I'm doing something wrong, or standard talks on the 6630 can't = read letter by letter? My business interest is completely disinterested here. In general, I will always prefer mainstream, as opposed to specialist = devices, because they are all so far behind, including the Icon. USB 1.1 for goodness' sake, that went out with the ark. Of course, Talks can do letter by letter, word by word, line by line, or whatever you want. The biggest memory card, not necessarily MMC that I know of is 2GB. Few phones use MMC nowadays, it is usually Mini or micro SD. For myself, I don't want one yet, primarily because it is only USB 1.1 compliant, which means it's going to be damned slow at transferring =3D files. Not only that, most of the functions can be performed on a good Symbian phone. The only function I haven't found as readily, is a good RSS =3D reader, but a good phone with Talks can do just about all the Icon can do, and = =3D is a lot cheaper.
