Hello all, I've written to ITV in regards to this issue. the responce that they had given me was:

Unfortunately ITV.com does not currently support screen reader applications.

Accessibility is something we are extremely keen to cover and at present we are testing a number of options so we can deliver content with audio descriptors particularly the Jaws screen reader.

We will keep your details so we are able to notify you as soon as this service becomes available.

Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to get this up and running as soon as possible.

so, I think if more of us give them feedback letting them know that it is a serious problem for those who use screen readers. they might do something about it. i'll put the feedback link for them below.

Hope many of you will write to them.

Hi all,

I missed last night's episode of The Bill, and want to
download it from ITV catch-up, but I'm not sure how easy
this is with a screen reader. I've had a look at the site,
but can't work out whether I have to subscribe to the site
in order to download programs, or how easy it would be to
actually download a program using Supernova version 10.02.

If someone could advise me on whether I need to subscribe to
the site itself, and what steps I need to take to download
last night's episode of The Bill using Supernova 10.02 I
would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

Alexander Shannon
