Yep, it’s the same on Android.
All the best

What you do to unmute depends on your device. If you are on a Windows PC
pressing alt A will toggle between muted and un-muted state. Also holding down
the space bar will allow you to unmute yourself temporarily whilst you talk.
On an iPhone or iPad you need to swipe with Voiceover to find the mute/un-mute
button and double tap that. I don’t know about Android phones but imagine it
is similar.

Subject: [access-uk] Help with Zoom
Hi.
Earlier today I joined a meeting on Zoom for the first time. Unfortunately
I was frustrated because I was muted and couldn't find a way to unmute
myself. so although I could hear everybody taking part, no one could hear
me. A friend of mine told me that the person who set up the meeting should
have been able to unmute me but she couldn't so it was rather a one-sided
affair. Any help would be appreciated.
