I know the source and always checked for viruses, now.
In windows 7 the extract all did it so easily I am embarrassed by my former ignorance.

If they are .zip, surely the extraction program built into Windows from XP
onwards, ought to open the files.

I presume you have run virus checks Etc to ensure the files are clean.
