Maybe that an update to your video card driver causes JAWS to not work
properly. Try rolling back the driver.

Hi all,

OK, so if you saw my earlier message, you'll know that I recently
reinstalled XP Home on my Samsung NC10 netbook. This was because JAWS was
refusing to read anything, and I was having the same problems that Ibrahim
reported a few days ago. Well, I reinstalled Windows, and all was working
fine. I used Windows Update to get the latest updates for the machine, and
then rebooted, and what do you know, JAWS is back to its old tricks again,
no selected item, blank, and what not. I'm at the end of my tether with this
now! Maybe I should just get a new netbook LOL
