Hmmm! That wasn't the part I was thinking about. I think it occurs when you log in via internet. (Maybe it's not quite introduced yet and I only partly digested what I was reading.)

Oh, the numbers and letters are your memorable information, and they're presented in accesible combo boxes. It's just a case of remembering your memorable information and figuring out what character is associated with the numbers they give you. So let's say your memorable info was carol1985 and they asked for characters 1, 4 and 7, you'd choose c, o and 9. As with the phoning system I haven't tried it so can't comment on that one. -- Chris Hallsworth E-mail: christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266 -------------------------------------------------- From: "Carol Pearson" <carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 27, 2009 9:39 PM To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [access-uk] Re: Got it to-day!Don't you have to find random numbers on screen when you log in? If so, how do you do this, by reading the whole screen? What about any calls they do to you to check that you're the one wanting to pay someone money for the first time? I really want to be sure what I'm doing, so far as is possible, so please try to answer me if you can. I used to get Braille and print statements or other letters from them, but now I do online banking, which is very accessible and does not require one of those machines, I do everything online. -- Chris Hallsworth E-mail: christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266 -------------------------------------------------- From: "Carol Pearson" <carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 27, 2009 4:30 PM To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [access-uk] Re: Got it to-day!Was thinking of Lloyds TSB as I used to belong to Lloyds years back ... Anyone know what their service is like these days? Anyone do telephone banking with them? If so, I'd welcome the opportunity to call for a chat. What about Internet banking. Anyone do this with Lloyds TSB and know if you have an additional machine (as with a number these days) for added security when logging on? -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Twitter: http://twitter.com/songbird49a ---- Original Message ---- From: brian williams To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, July 27, 2009 3:08 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Got it to-day!Hi carol don't know who you are with but if you've had problems with your pin and cards don't go to hsbc.
