Great tool, isn't it?

With Google, I very much doubt it's spyware. =20

Right click on the icon in the Systray, and select
"Preferences".  At the bottom of the screen that comes up
see if, "Send non-personal usage data and crash reports to
Google" is checked.  If it is, uncheck it.  This may be what
is causing Google Desktop to access the Internet.
