There has to be a quality control issue here if Iain has had three in under a
year already. I really would urge you Iain to clarify the legal position, it's
a lot of money to have spent on a product that clearly isn't working.

Sight And Sound claimed they tested the machine before sending it out. They
won't give me a refund so I am stuck with this potentially unreliable product.

Well, it looks like I am about to be on to Focus 14 number 4 since October.
The way I am feeling at the moment, I would advise anyone who is thinking about
investing in a Braille display to avoid the Focus 14. Yes, it is nice to use
but my experience has led me to the conclusion that for a machine which costs
£1000, it is far too unreliable. I hope the experience of others has been
considerably better than mine.
