Hi Iain

But even being outside the 28-day period still entitles you to have a fully
working product, especially since this is now nine months on and you may have
to have a fourth unit?  I would contact Trading Standards to see what they can
advise you.

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown

Sight And Sound claimed they tested the machine before sending it out. They
won't give me a refund so I am stuck with this potentially unreliable product.
I know I am well outside the 28 day refund period.

Hello everyone
Well, it looks like I am about to be on to Focus 14 number 4 since October. The
way I am feeling at the moment, I would advise anyone who is thinking about
investing in a Braille display to avoid the Focus 14. Yes, it is nice to use
but my experience has led me to the conclusion that for a machine which costs
£1000, it is far too  unreliable. I hope the experience of others has been
considerably better than mine.
