Hi,

Fair point. But would I not have to upgrade my sound system to benefit from the
HD sound? currently I am using a coaxial lead to my Sony decoder to obtain
Dolby 5.1 and DTS....

Hi BJ,

They are being sold with AD on them. About the same percentage of disks as the
DVD market.

As you have a good sound system then you would appreciate the higher quality of
sound you get with a Blu-ray disk. It is not just the video that is improved.

Subject: [access-uk] Blu-ray...

Hi everyone,

This may not be the right list for this question, but here we go...

I am a big film fan, I have a large collection of DVDs, and a decent sound
system to watch them on. The question is, at present I can see little benefit
in upgrading to Blu-ray, unless there is a decent range of Blu-ray movies with
audio description... so, does anyone know if Blu-ray titles are being released
with audio description?

Thanks,

BJ
