That is nothing to do with jaws. It is the way you do it in outlook express. It is the same with any screen reader. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Logue" <plsd@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Michelle,
I think if you are a beginner and you are using Jaws, the best email client
for you is Outlook Express. However, Outlook Express has to be specially
configured for you to use it with Jaws. You will probably learn how to
configure it as you go along. Right now, in order for people in your address
book to be automatically added to the address line of your email, you have
to check a particular box within the Outlook Express options. Here is what
to do, step by step. After you complete these steps, people's addresses will
autofill as you type in the TO field.
Hit alt T to bring down the Tools menu.
Now touch the letter O for options.
This will open the Options dialog.
Now touch shift plus tab and this will land you on the General tab.
Now, using the right arrow key, move to the right three times until you land
on the Send tab.
Now, using the tab key, tab 4 times until you hear:
Automatically complete e-mail addresses when composing. Check box.
If it doesn't say check box checked, touch the spacebar to check it and move
to the OK button.

Regards,
Peter Logue
