Not sure if this is what you want.
Pressing the Alt key plus the number 1 on the main keyboard
gives you the column heading. This is in Office 2003.

Hi all
Does anyone know how to set up Jaws in excel so that, as you
type in rows of information, it will say the top line e.g.
column headings each time you need to type in that column. I
once did it but have completely forgotten how.
