Hi Jackie, To turn it on, just press the middle of the circle. To turn it off, just hold down the same for about two seconds. There is no indication so trial and error at first. Left/right is prev/next track and the centre of the circle is pause. But this is only for Bluetooth devices, it will not work with hard wired devices. Having set it to charge on my PC using the USB cable supplied, I have tried the 3.5 to 3.5 cable on my Victor Reader Stream, and this seems to be pretty good. I have also paired it under Bluetooth with my iPhone, and it was simple to achieve. I have a couple of questions for anyone else using this device, however. 1. With the socckets at the rear of the unit as it faces you, could someone kindly give me a quick tour of the buttons please? Pressing the circular joystick in the up or down position appears to alter the volume. But how do you turn it on or off? 2. Once connected via Bluetooth to my iPhone, I couldn't find a quick way of disconnecting it, so I turned Bluetooth off, and it worked that way. But surely there is a better method? Until now, I have been using a lovely little round speaker that plugs into a 3.5 socket, but it runs on batteries with no charging facility. So perhaps the Desaia will do the job nicely when I am using portable devices. This is a nice little cube that should meet most needs, and reasonably priced as well.
