Actually Steve I use the "horrible Pop3" as you call it, (smile), and get the choice on my phone to delete from the handset or server.

Hi Chris, A better way is to set your Email up to use IMAP rather than theold-fashioned and horrible POP3. That way, the phone will always ask you ifyou want to delete from phone, or phone and server when you delete a message. Not only that, with IMAP, your mail is synchronised wherever you go. All the best Steve -----Original Message-----From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf OfChris Hallsworth Sent: Monday 16 June 2008 16:00 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Deleting e-mails from server Hi, no you can't. You've got to tell the phone to disconnect from the server. To do this, once you've read and deleted all your e-mails from both the phone and the server (the messages get marked for deletion this way), you have to press soft key 2 until you're at the standby screen, or at least till you've exited the messaging application. You'll then be asked to disconnect from the server since you're still physically connected. So press soft key 1, and not only will you disconnect from the server, butyour account will be synchronized on both the phone and the server, so thatyour messages really get deleted. Hope that helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Saqib" <saqib500@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 16 Jun 2008 14:51:15 +0100 Subject: [access-uk] Deleting e-mails from serverserver.
