It depends honestly, as to how much the product is worth in value after it is
repaired.
If it is 4 or 5 grand, it could go up to £40.00 to insure it.

Hi Jackie, thank you for this, I am actually lost for words, but at the same
time, you're not alone. I won't name anyone as I'm not sure who is on this
list, but I recently needed a product repair from a company, based maybe about
4 hours away from me, and I was charged £40 delivery to have it sent by DPD.
Yes I get that it was an expensive item, but surely it can't cost £40 even with
insurance, and I wasn't even aware of this until my invoice came in print,
saying that postage was £40. I wondered why I was quoted a higher price when it
was time to take the payment!

grain of common sense in charging £20 per item. I still think this is
excessive given the size of the package, but at least it's not £41. Cobolt
say that they have to charge this amount for postage because the phone has a
battery!!!!!!
So now that both Steve Nutt and Mo Iqbal sell this phone, which wasn't the
case when we bought ours, please buy from either of them, especially if you
live in NI. I've heard the saying 'robbing the blind', but this really does
take its meaning to a whole new level. I've never been charged £41 anywhere
in the world, so how Cobolt insist on this I can't fathom, but take note if
you live in these parts.
