opened my own. A flat bar of chocolate with few buttons and a touch screen

Hi Carol - I know Tristram suggested 4-5 hours, but it was always 3 times
longer than this for mobiles etc, so will probably give it lots of time, and 
especially as it'll be charging on the laptop or in the kicker. -

I used the plug charger I decided to purchase and just left it on
overnight. I didn't ever see a charging time recommended for first charge.
