[access-uk] Can anyone tell me why I am getting the following error from my BT account please

Hi all,

I am connected on BT broadband but once or twice this evening I have tried 
to send and receive messages and encountered the following error.

The server responded with an error. Account: 'Alexander Shannon 
mail.btinternet.com', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Server 
Response: '-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', 
Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 
0x800CCC90


Is there anything I should do before trying to contact BT?
