Hi Roger, I'd first check the exact kind of CDs you are attempting to burn to. I have a Philips LiteScribe, and it hates DVD-RW disks, but is fine with DVD+RW. So could it be a type issue? As for LiteScribe, although the disks themselves are slightly more expensive, you don't HAVE to use them - ordinary ones will do. However it's a sighted thing, and if you do want to label disks, it's a really neat way to do it. They actually come out looking like a gold disk of the kind once presented in the entertainment industry. But I have 2 questions. Firstly when the machine is a RAM what exactly does=20 that mean? Secondly some are shown as Lightscribe, isn't this something to=20 do with certain discs where the burner will print the details straight on to=20 it? If I'm right is it effective? If not what is it please? Many thanks Roger Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=3Dunsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=3Dfaq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq No virus found in this incoming message.
