Perhaps a silly question, but assuming you have the dot ISO file, are
you correctly burning it as a .ISO, which is not the same as simply
burning the installation file to a CD?

George.

Subject: [access-uk] Burning Vinux to a CD-RW

Hello all,
I'm trying to burn Vinux onto a CD-RW. I've tried UltraIso, PowerIso
and
IMGburn. It seems to burn fine, but with two programs (UltraIso and
IMGburn)I get problems verifying the disk. IMGburn even tells me some
diagnostic but cryptic messages, and also told me that one of the
sectors is
smaller than the sectors in the image. Does this therefore mean that
the
disk is at fault, and if so should I try another disk, as I've got ten
in
total, all CD-RW's? All help would be greatly appreciated as this is
driving
me mad! P.S. Oh yes, the problem is it burns ok, but when I try to
start it
with the computer it doesn't seem to boot properly and I no doubt get
an
error message, to which I've got no eyeballs to help me read it.
Thanks in
advance, as this is driving me mad!
