I’m not Ian, but I imagine they are still doing repairs, but they don’t seem to 
be stocking it at the moment.

Are you saying then Ian that when I get the time to phone the RNIB about my 
Orbit Reader 20 the chance of getting it repaired are zero, I sincerely hope 
not.

Yep, those are nice displays too.

I really wouldn’t go the Orbit route to be honest, they have reliability 
issues. You know the phrase, buy cheap, pay twice?

I know this is very much a personal taste thing to some extent, but I would 
recommend one of the Brailliant range. I use a Brailliant 20 in both standalone 
mode and with my iPhone and iPad. However, I do not use it with my laptop.

I use my note-taker both as a braille display for the computer and my iPhone as 
well as a word processor. 

What would folk recommend? What about the Orbit?
