i thought mine was ok too, i would keep checking the 13 amp plug wiring, and twisting the wire, and it would start sometimes, i had to try to boot at least three times and it would often shut down abruptly, and for no apparent reason. good luck. harry ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter Beasley To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, October 22, 2006 6:01 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Boot up problem I don't believe this is a power supply problem Harry but thanks anyway. ----- Original Message ----- From: Harry Lyddall To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, October 22, 2006 5:15 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Boot up problem hi peter hope you are well. i had the same promlem for the last year. i had my local shop fit a new power supply for £10 and that has cured the problem completely. hth harry ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter Beasley To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, October 22, 2006 4:27 PM Subject: [access-uk] Boot up problem For a while now this computerdoes not boot up as it should. My way around this is just to keepswitching the power off and back on again. I have to do this several times before eventually, the machine boots up. While using the machine, if a restart is required, things start normally. What I would llike to know is what can I do tosort this out or do I need some sighted assistance.
