Hi all,I sent this to a networking list I'm on. Thought I'd throw it over to hereas well.I'm still around, even though i haven't posted in ages. Just been busy withwork. To my email.I took delivery of a Linksys WRT 300N during the week and started to configit today. I've used Linksys for years. and have always found their web utility works with my assistive technology. (I use screenreaders to access the Windows platform and Linux platforms). I run servers at home and was starting the process of opening ports for them. Something's happened to the web UI on this model of router! It seems to have some badly formatted table for the ports, and IP's, protocol entrys. The form fields arent' aligned correctly. There's also badly placed drop-down boxes for selecting the type of programyou are opening ports for. I upgraded to the latest firmware for the router and was quite annoyed to find that, "More usable" as per the linksys.com sites description for this firmware upgrade didn't apply to screenreaders or any web site/web apps interfaces for accessibility! I've used the ddrwt firmware before on a WAG300N and a WRT54G router. I found it quite a nice piece of third party firmware, which seemed to read OK. NB. The Linksys firmware for all other models of kit including repeatersI've used in the past reads fine. Especially in the port forwarding sectionof the web utility. I ended up looking at the DDWRT Wikki. I cant' seem to find a directdownload link for my router though. I see that it says the latest supportedrelease is beta 24? However, I can't seem to locate links that let me download this. I did download, dd-wrt[1].v24_generic_nokaid.bin and DD-WRT.tsk Neither of these the router would accept as valid upgrades. Can anyone help with either a description of the port forwarding section's table layout and how the drop-down boxes apply to the fields or help me locate a direct download for my router? Thank you very much for any and all help on this.
