Yes, we have DELUX and can only compare that with BBC's offering, hence my previous remarks. Are you saying Sky use something else for ITV that's actually better?

They use Deluxe. All the best Steve -- Computer Room Services 77 Exeter Close Stevenage Hertfordshire SG1 4PW Tel: +44(0)1438-742286 Mob: +44(0)7956-334938 Fax: +44(0)1438-759589 Email: steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Web: http://www.comproom.co.uk -----Original Message-----From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf OfCarol.Pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: 08 September 2014 10:44 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: BBC-Licence changes? So, is it a different company that does the audio description for your mainchannels as well? Sky and Virgin have really great accessible TV control apps. Virgin TV Anywhere and Sky Plus are great. Sky Plus isn't as good on iOS as on Android, but I have reported the iOS problems with it. Here's my take on this. As we don't have a television it doesn't affect us but radio is another matter. The radio 4 helpline has been a very useful source of information for many years now but recently I had reason to call them but what a complete mess it is now. I know for some time it has dropped their 24 hour service and who can blame them for that but now all you get is options to press then announcements after that. You get no choice at all to speak to someone so really there is no helpline now. I expect they want everyone to find out from their website, but I can't seem to get my head around that site at all. All in all they don't think of blind people very much as there has been subtitles from the word go but as I hear not too much AD. The detailsare on your screen.", or the 'pointless' round which lives up to the nameof the programme for us: "Now the picture round. Can you put the names to the following pictures: A...B...C...D...ENCE"?In a nutshell, the licence concession is not just about how much money youhave in your pocket. It's also about how much value you get when you shell out that money. Personally, as a blind person, I'd be happy to pay the full licence if I was getting the full service, but, though things are improving, there are too many unnecessary exclusions. Do people think that it's getting any easier to find out whether the specific programme you want to catch up with is audio-described on IPlayer?I think the BBC are getting there, but they're still on the journey.
