Might be worth just going to Media Player and clicking on check for updates in
the help menu just to double check you have the latest version.

I am having some problems downloading a program from the BBC iPlayer.
When I Enter on the Windows Media Player download, I am just jumped out of the
page and onto my computer's Desktop. If I Alt Tab back into the page and try
again, the same thing happens.
If I use the JAWS Cursor, there is a message saying I need to update Windows
Media Player to download the program. I click on the link to go to the
Microsoft site to download, but nothing happens.
I have checked and I have the latest version of Media Player installed.
Any help?
