Sandra, I tried real alternative, and, yes, it does play the bbc ok but I
found that it wouldn't play certain other radio stations that used real
player.

Douglas, have you tried real alternative for listening to BBC radio streams? Like Winamp, you can adjust the volume independently with the up and down arrows. You can get it from
