[access-uk] Asking A Question for a Friend - Broadband and wi-fi

The gentleman has broadband but uses ethernet cable (excuse spelling)! now that
he has a mobile phone which has wi-fi, he would like to set an access point for
his phone. I told him that he should have a security key but he has never
heard of that. How would I advise him further about getting the key? Would it
be written on his router or does this have to be generated? Like I say he is
not using wi-fi at home with his broadband.
