Well done for moving back to Apple <smile>. I have an iPhone 4s and iPad Mini 2, both work well with the current iOS which is 8.3. There are new Apple products like Macs, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, iPhone 6 etc but the older, even ancient products still work with the latest OS. iPod Touch Fifth Generation is still the current iPod if interested.
