Hi,
Tried this with IE 11 & Firefox & JFW 18/ NVDA. The UI has indeed changed
considerably & there are more dynamic menus & tabs on the page. JFW handles the
dynamic content better than NVDA. With JFW, using Spacebar, I am able to open
the menus & switch between the refinement tabs. Note that the option to tab
through the options may not work because of the dynamic design, so might be
worth trying to navigate by heading or by link.
It seems that NVDA is not recognising the drop down menu options listed when
the link is activated. I had to activate the menu using Spacebar, then press
the down arrow key to go to the 1st option then press Esc key to exit forms
mode & then I was able to navigate through some of the options. Note that this
didn't always work, so may require some trial & error. HTH.
Regards,
LU

Subject: [access-uk] Annoying problem with an Ebay change
Around a week ago, Ebay yet again seems to have changed how you reach certain
filter conditions after first doing your item search.
You used to be able to TAB to or search for "UK Only" hits for a given item and
then TAB to or search for "Auction" to further filter your findings.
I can no longer find any of these filters in these ways. Ebay seems to now be
using a "Refinements" button to get into these options/filters.
However, using IE11 or Google Chrome, I cannot get this Refinements button to
open these filters. with NVDA. I try SPACEBAR, ENTER, LEFT MOUSE CLICK ON THE
NUMPAD but nothing happens.
Has anyone else got this problem and has anyone else found a way to get around
this annoyance.
Thanks.
John.
