Hi Kevin
I was talking to my friend Shaun Preece last night about this as we are
planning a joint review for Tech Talk. But neither of us likes the app,
which seems to force us to close it right down and start again if we want to
access a tab.
I am very underwhelmed at the moment, though I do like the speaker itself.

Hi, I feel the same way about the app and the product, I can't
believe that it was put out and you can't order things on Amazon! or am

Has anyone found the app to be a bit unresponsive at times? For
example, if I double-tap on one of the tabs, then go back to the Home
screen, I sometimes find it doesn't want to activate another tab, and
I have to quit the app in the App Switcher, go back in, and am then
able to select the relevant tab.
I would also like to clear the history of what I have asked Alexa to
do, but haven't found a way of doing this as yet.
It is early days yet, I know, but while the TTS voice and the speaker
itself is quite good, I'm not wowed by it at the moment.

I can tell you about the buttons on the top. The one with a dot on it
turns on the Echo and turns it off when pressed once more. The other
button is on and off for the microphone.

I have now got my Echo up and running, though I did find the app to be
a bit unresponsive to start with. By that, I mean that I was able to
connect her to WiFi, but the app was extremely sluggish for a good while.
I have a few questions to ask about the unit in general, if someone
