Hi Ali

I have had the same problem. I installed AVG on another computer and it just sat there. Thought it was a problem with the way I had setup the connection so installed it on mine. It did the same thing just sat there. I then tried later on that night and it downloaded with no problem. I think it must be that sometimes the server is too busy. So it's just a case of trying at different times of the day.

Subject: [access-uk] AVG 7 update?

Hi,
for the last few days, I have been failing to update AVG 7 internal database
through internet. Every time I try to update it, it sits there and comes
with a message saying internet connection could not be established, does
anyone have any idea what this could be? I tried to turn my firewall,
sygate and launching IE to establish the connection without success. Now
AVG is screaming at me that the internal database is out of date. Any idea
please?

Thank you.
