Hi Peter,

I am told it does work in compatibility mode. IE8 just tells the web site
that it is IE6.

All the best

Steve

Fair point but for people who may be considering whether to wait before
upgrading, I think it is reasonable to draw attention to advice which is on
Abbey's web site pasted below. I will let others judge how effective the
compatibility mode is.

Hi Peter.

Have you tried using the compatibility view? There is a button on the
toolbar for this function so please try it before stating definate
incompatibility.

All the best, Ibrahim.

I know that it is quite easy to swap over to Fire Fox but thought some might
be interested to know that Abbey's online site does not support IE 8.
