Hi Maureen,

No, Maxiaids was not invited to Ntional last year and probably will not be
ever again, if they manage to stay in business with all these lawsuits!!!

Dear Everyone:

Today I was at a product demonstration given by Marvin Sanler, Independent
Living Aids. He said that he filed for a contempt of court order against
Maxiaids with a hearing to be held on June 19, 2003. This has to do with
the previous lawsuit won by Independent Living Aids.

Maxiaids also has claimed status as a disadvantaged company because Eliot's
son is deaf. Deafness can not be defined as a disadvantage and because they
have sold products to the Veterans Administrationc they are in trouble with
the Federal government.

Now, Perkins--Howe Press is suing Maxiaids for underselling the Perkins
brailler. Perkins sold braillewriters to some third world countries in
Africa for $300.00. Maxiaids would buy them from these countries and sell
them here in the US for a cheaper price than Perkins.

It is my understanding that Maxiaids was not invited to ACB national last
year. Someone confirm please.

I know that one of our list members works for maxiaids. I hope that I have
not offended you. This is not personal

Maureen Moscato
