I assume you know that Dserver needs a separate PC and email/account to
run as a dedicated server. You cannot run Dserver and the game on the
same PC at the same time. Did you create a new email address/account for
the other PC's BoS Dserver installation?
I am assuming your mission is the same one that runs ok in your Game but
if not, did you run 'Tools'.... 'Check Integrity' in the mission editor
for the mission on your server PC?
In the 'Manage sds' form for your mission:
Did you use those new email address/account details in the .sds form
Credentials
Test with Presets at Normal.
Have you selected Dogfight as Game Type and left the boxes alongside
unchecked while testing?
Try setting the values below Game Type as 0 or Unlimited where available.
Server info: avoid the use of special characters. slashes etc., although
I know the hyphen ( - ) is ok.
Connection Settings: Have you set Ports and checked port forwarding in
your Dserver PC's router connection? Downloader port is usually 28100.
TCP and UDP ports are 28000.
Did you Add your mission (and do you know how to suck eggs ;-) )
If in doubt send me your mission folder including the .sds file
Good luck

I probably know what the difference is in testing between my and Colin/Witch'es dserver on my sperate server.
I am not using the dserver.exe that is available in the Box folder on my gaming rig, but I downloaded a "dedserver" from the Box forum.
I doubt this one will ever work, cause I tried also the description from Klem's mail and the same login failure keeps occurring.
Also google does not seem to have a solution.
I will search for a different server executable and retry.

Guys,
if you want to run a server on a separate PC you will need a separate account with a different email address (I created one on gmail), then follow the whole process as on this link:

Hi Dutch - No, because I'm hosting on my main flying machine as a Coop. I've not tried running a dserver.
I don't even know if you can host a coop on a dserver.
Klem - do you know the answer?

I downloaded Dserver at unzipped it on a Windows 2012R2 server (virtual machine).
It is running, but I need credentials to run the server and I need mission files.
Can you provide both?

I don't know Dutch, happy to give it a go! It could turn into a Dutch v. Witch network shootout ;)
How about Dutch hosting on Sunday at say 19:00, Witch at 20:00 and we'll see what works best?

Phoenix,
What hardware specs, OS and software does the server need?
I have a 100 Mbit up- an download for internet. Should be enough.

Many thanks to everyone who tried to fly mission 3 last night.
Eight players plus all the AI was clearly too much for either my meagre
18 Mb/s internet connection or my PC.
However, I think many of us are enjoying the campaign, perhaps because
it gives a sense of continuity, genuinely war-like objectives and is
based on actual history.
So I'd like to try a few things:
firstly, do a trial on a faster PC and internet connection - maybe
Witch's PC - so I'll modify the mission accordingly;
secondly I'd like to continue the campaign even if Witch's PC is no
better - that will mean booking groups of six to fly it;
thirdly I'd like to find or generate some new genuinely coop (rather
than modified single player) campaigns.
