It doesnt seem a bad system for the money lats, it certainly seems
enough for you to run full settings. You can always use hdd you already
have anyway alongside the SSD. I am somewhat in the school of the more
memory the better, and have 3xssd and another 3 hdd. I tend not to
bother about min-maxxing RAM memory timings except its clock speed. The
time taken to transport the data from memory to cpu/gpu usually dwarfs
it. I usually go for quantity over peak quality. GPU with lots of memory
and cpu with lots of onboard level1 &2 cache.
I got a slightly different system in mind if I can get my head around
the gov taking 2years worth from 5years back pension I am waiting for
(22k -10k seems a bit much to me). So as others mentioned gonna wait and
see what the new stuff does for amd3700/3800 cpu prices and black
Fridays deals (never thought I would be lowering myself to that level of
americanised commercialism). Having upgraded my monitor recently which
actually made an unexpected huge difference (my wife got one and I tried
that and was shocked) so am looking for a system able to run it at
native 2k with more than 2 planes on it on Rhineland.
Hope your wife recovered from Covid and you remained free of it mate

Only bother with 1 Tb HDD if storing loads of photos/images (a waste of SSD IMHO). Mind you they are fairly cheap now.

Lats, not had chance to look into the case or nvme SSD, but they should be ok?
If you are planning to go ryzen which the m/b suggests I would got with memory
that at leasts runs at 3200mhz, the memory you have picked runs at 2400mhz,
ryzen likes fast memory.
If I am wrong someone please correct!
Something like this which is also cheaper:

Motherboards sounds good from previous emails.
No mention of cpu or psu ?
