I don't think you thought that through. Imagine if every prospective victim
you find on your patrols has a little message in the corner of their screen
telling them that there is a pair of enemy aircraft 2km behind the 3000m higher
then they see the altitude suddenly start decreasing rapidly. You will never
get a bounce on an unsuspecting target again. Not just that but every enemy
fighter for miles around will be heading your way even though they are all
still beyond visibility range and they will all know how high they need to be
to be sure of having an alt advantage before you spot them.
