Winning the War on Terrorism - we must understand that terrorism is a
strategy, a tactic, used by states and non-state groups alike to advance
political goals and objectives. Declaring a war on terrorism is as if
President Franklin Roosevelt had declared a war on blitzkrieg. A

International observers for U.S. elections - Seven American activist
groups asked the United Nations on Monday to provide international
observers for next month's presidential election....A petition delivered

twice used that line...That is absurd, and it was foolish for Kerry to let
it go. I have been around the White House under six presidents and have
written, quite extensively, about their decision-making. I know, and so
does Bush, that no one, no one at all, sees what a president sees. That is
what the classification "Eyes Only" means. We now know that Bush was a
wannabe war president who was holding back a great deal of pre-war
intelligence for his own purpose -- and his purpose was to go to war.

On 7 October 2004, US authorities issued a federal order to Rackspace
ordering them to hand over alternative/independent media, Indymedia web
servers to the requesting agency. Rackspace, which provides hosting
services for more that 20 Indymedia sites at its London facility, complied
and turned over it's servers. Largely unreported in the U.S. media, there
have been recent crackdowns on independent media in the U.S. and using the
long arm of U.S. enforcement in Europian countries. - (Indymedia is a
collective of independent media organizations and hundreds of journalists
offering grassroots, non-corporate coverage. Indymedia is a democratic
media outlet for the creation of radical, accurate, and passionate

given, because since 9/11 you and they don't have any rights.

The U.S. Occupation is Morally Indefensible - A few days ago, some 40
children were blown to pieces while they were gathering candy from
American soldiers at the opening of a sewage treatment plant. (Side note:
That's how bad things have gotten - we have to celebrate the
reconstruction of our sewage treatment plants). I don't know who to be
more angry with - the idiots and PR people who thought it would be a good
idea to have children running around during a celebration involving troops
or the parents for letting their children attend. I the people who
arranged the explosions burn within the far-reaches of hell. . . .

The propaganda is, since we broke it, we own it. We don't own Iraq, the
Iraqis own Iraq. We do owe them. We did break it and we need to support
those who want to rebuild what we broke. For that, we have a debt, but the
obligation isn't to break it more or get in the middle of an impossible
situation. Vietnam was a civil war and even the CIA said to this
administration that the probable outcome in Iraq is a civil war. A civil
war cannot be prevented by force. Nothing we do will change that. It has
been tried before. In Vietnam we lost 58,000 Americans and the Vietnamese
lost 3,000,000 and it didn't change a thing. We still lost....John Kerry
did good enough in the debate. He didn't challenge Bush on all of Bush's
misstatements and there were so many of them but that was because of the
format. It seemed that the moderator gave Bush more opportunities to
answer Kerry than he gave Kerry to answer Bush, but John Kerry won the
debate anyway - because truth was on his side...Bush and the Republicans
and all the rest of us are in parallel universes. *

Inability to Perform - personal knowledge about why George W. Bush
prematurely left his Texas National Guard unit in 1972--because nerves,
fear and a possible drinking problem were affecting his ability to pilot
his F-102A plane. If true, this information further confirms a growing
body of evidence that Bush has not been candid about his departure from
his unit.
