[24hoursupport] Zone Alarm

I tried setting ZA's settings all to zero or equivalent, and set it not to
start at boot, and after rebooting I discovered I could not get on the Internet
until I started Zone Alarm. I'm afraid if I just uninstall it, my access to the
Internet will be impeded (although I may have to try it anyways). How do I get
it out of my OS permanently?
