Two useful URLS appear below. The first is the download site for MS
AntiSpyware, a worthy adddition to antispyware apps for anyone.

The second URL, posted here earlier by Spider, takes you to the download
site for AboutBuster and is specific to the about:blank browser hijacker.
Believe me, it does a job on that nasty.

I found that Spider's recommendation was the final solution for the latter.
The MS tool provided only temporary relief against about:blank, the most
persistent browser high jacker I have run across to date. It made MS
Internet Explorer useless to me for more than a week.

Remember that the MS tool is in stage Beta 1 and MS is still improving it.
It's a great tool, but not perfect. I have found it prudent to have several
spyware removal tools available.
