Confusing indeed!

Works 2001 comes with Word 2000, a real advantage over the old wp that Works
came with.  And the note on the website indicates that the problem is known
in Works 2001, so it looked okay.

Oy, not at all!  I don't have a restore point to go back to, but I'm sure
there's a fix.  I'm not panicking; just once again amused that Microsoft
products can be so iffy.
