Hi rob,

I'm sorry to hear that and I think it must be a bug of Blade, I will
forward this issue to our developers.

Another matter,

I found a Orange Blade yesterday and i try to reappear the "LED frequency
of missed notice" problem.

But i havn't found the LED in the front of the Orange Blade |=.=|.

So ...

At last I think this issue you described must be existence.

Yesterday the user experience promoting project manager chated with me and
he told me that he had notified this requirement to his team, and the
developers will discuss to decide a suitable frequence that balanced in
function and power-consuming.

have a good weekend.

Best regards.

wifi in sleep mode :(

Hi,Rob.

I found a switch in the menu to solve your problem "wifi chip sleeping".

in the "setting" program, "wireless & networks" , WLAN setting. Then press
menu button to call up the menu .then select "advanced".

Can you find the menu like the follow pic in your Blade?

Best regards.

Thanks Ben, Might I suggest that if possible as standard on your phones a
more frequent interval (maybe once every 10 seconds?) in sleep mode might
be more useful as the likelyhood of spotting that 1 brief flash every 1
minute is very small! Power saving wise I can’t imagine that a brief
flash of the LED is going to make much difference.

have a good night

Dear rob,

Thanks for your mail.

I used another model ZTE android smartphohe named P722G to reappear your
issues, then i find that our P722G would flash his LED every 1 minutes in
the sleeping mode. In the waking up mode, the LED would flash its LED
every 3 seconds.

I have found Blade in my table but when i used it to reappear your issues
i found that it was an Chinese version Blade, there was no LED in the
front of the handset. So I found that i have no idea on your problem this
night. I will try to find an England version Blade to reproduce your
matter tomorrow.

Best regards.

I’ve investigated this a little more and wonder if you can say whether or
not the V880 suffers from the same issue?

When I get a text message or missed call, the LED back button flashes once
every 30 (I think) seconds to notify the user of the event. Once the
phone goes to sleep (screen goes off) the flashing stops so the user has
no way of identifying that there was a missed call. This does seem like a
pretty serious flaw and it’s confusing a lot of people, I get around it
by installing the flashnotify app from the market but it really shouldn’t
be necessary. Can you confirm if this is the same in 2.2 for the V880 at
the moment, and whether it’s a hardware or software issue?

What really should happen is that the LED co ntinues to flash when the
phone sleeps, if there is a hardware issue in that the LED will not work
when the phone is in a full sleep then maybe only a “soft” sleep should
occur when there is a notification?

Regards

Rob
