Earlier in the season people were commenting on the shortage of Wrens nesting in the Bluebird Trail boxes. It was thought at the time that they might have suffered during migration due to the long winter. Have trail-keepers noticed any changes as to whether Wrens are occupying nests and breeding? I have had one singing and building up sticks in one or two of my boxes but there is not active egg-laying or nest completion and the poor bird is singing its heart out all day every day for the last several weeks. I would appreciate some comments. Happy Birding, Hilary Ford, Door CO, Ellison Bay #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
