Hey everyone, I have a spot for Long-eared Owl nailed down in Berrien County, MI, just across the lake from us. It's usually pretty reliable this time of year and I just heard that there are LEOWs present there right now. I also have a second location nailed down just south of Chicago in case we dip in MI. I was wondering if anyone would like to go chase these birds? I thought some of you might wish to go due to the apparent lack of this species in Wisconsin. Let me know. I'd really love to go on Thurs if possible since it would also add to my '09 year list. Also, if we time it right, we should be able to stop and look for the continuing Ancient Murrelet at the Port of Indiana and possibly Purple Sandpiper at a few spots. Let me know ASAP if you want to go.
