I am John Holden of Charlottesville Virginia .....an avid hiker ., paddler and
birder , as well as a Virginia Master Naturalist . I grew up in Wisconsin ,
miss it , and visit door county often . I am happy to be resource for anyone
visiting this part of the country , which has longer falls and earlier springs
, especially along the coast . My next journey , after several Southern swamp
and remote beach trips , is to Door County in May in search of Sandhills Cranes
