[wisb] Re: Milwaukee city Wood Ducks and Hooded Merg

Thanks for the heads up on this one. I went over there and saw the Wood
Ducks this morning. That was a treat. They were hiding in that same shaded
area on the island.
Then I went over to Greenfield Park. The two resident Belted Kingfishers
were pretty active, although I could never seem to be in the right spot at
the right time to get good photos. Also found a Green Heron, and the usual
Great Blue Herons, Canada Geese, etc. I didn't know that Canada Geese dove
... but I do now! They were all splashing around in the water, keeping cool.

On Sunday, after the thunderstorms, I checked out Scout Lake, over on
Loomis Road, where I found a Green Heron, Great Blue Heron, as well as a
lone Pied Billed Grebe.
