Saw a couple flocks of about 60 each last night that looked like Red Wings on my way home to Lake Mills. Heard a couple conkereeing today just west of Lake Mills. Should also note that I saw a flock of about 15 Sandhills flying over Lake Mills on Saturday (the 18th) Kevin Kearns Lake Mills -----Original Message----- From: wisbirdn-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wisbirdn-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Judith Huf Sent: Thursday, February 23, 2012 12:23 PM To: wisbirdn@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [wisb] Milwaukee Singing Red-wings Official first sign of spring, the male Red-winged Blackbirds are back. There were about 12 of them singing at the County Grounds this morning. (Unfortunately, no sign of the N. Shrike that was reported there.)
