Decent morning at Lion's Den Gorge, Ozaukee County. Along with the numerous Y-rumps and palms I had a beautiful male prairie warbler- at eye level- for 2 mins.! Next a male Nashville. W-throats are everywhere- no white-crowns. Also picked up firsts gray catbird and clay-colored sparrows. Scanned the lake for a time hoping for scoters- nix. Did see a pair of Caspian terns. All in all a good 1.5 hours with a total of 60 spp. All siskins here appear to have fledged. Found one young dead in one nest.
