Had a very birdy morning at Lion's Den in Ozaukee County. Ended up with 17 warblers (first ovenbird and pine warbler of season) and other season firsts: RC kinglet and brown creeper. All the warblers were in a single patch of quaking aspen along the main trail. Noteworthy, the pine warbler was my first ever fall sighting. Palm and y-rumps were there but not in numbers that would indicate migration is coming to a halt. Swainson's and gray-cheeked thrushes were everywhere. Regarding migration. The Florida listserve members are starting to find their first warblers and thrushes so get out while "our" birds are still here.
