* I shot this photo directly into the sun's glare, but I am assuming this bird is a male Nothern Shoveler in breeding plumage? If so, there were at least a half dozen of these birds in the inner harbor at Lakeshore State Park, with at least one male in breeding plumage. This would also be the first photo of a male that I have ever taken: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14463444@N07/6790753556/in/photostream * Gotta love this photo, as it shows where the name "Goldeneye" comes from. :-) Photo from Milwaukee's Discovery World harbor: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14463444@N07/6790753854/in/photostream * Red-breasted Merganser trio in Milwaukee's Discovery World harbor. I like how the water is kinda the color of liquid mercury: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14463444@N07/6790754942/in/photostream Bernie Sloan Milwaukee #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
